Erin graduated with First Class Honours in Law and International Studies from Flinders University in 2005. Whilst studying, Erin worked in the hospitality industry and as a law clerk for an Adelaide based legal firm. She was admitted to practice on 8 August 2005.
Shortly after graduating, Erin was employed as the first Associate to the Honourable Justice Layton in the Supreme Court of South Australia. In mid 2006, she joined Iles Selley as a solicitor, during the course of which she was appointed to assist Sir Darryl Dawson and David Jackson QC as arbitrators in a five week gas price review involving interstate parties.
In 2007 Erin travelled extensively in the United States of America. Whilst in the US, she assisted a sole practitioner in Idaho practising in the areas of real estate law, finance transactions and estate planning. Erin also worked in New York in the latter half of 2007 at an organisation monitoring policy making at the United Nations. Erin was responsible for the Iraq and International Justice portfolios which included organising a discussion between UN Security Council delegates and Iraqi parliamentarians on the legality of the international presence in Iraq.
Erin rejoined Iles Selley in February 2008, assisting Matthew Selley and Dominic Agresta on a range of commercial and criminal matters.
